Description
Dr. Ernest Atkinson, M.D. is a board certified family medicine physician who loves taking care of patients in his community. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wofford University. He completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his residency training at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. Dr. Atkinson's services include preventative medicine, chronic disease management, children's and women's health, and minor surgical procedures. He encourages all his patients to quit smoking, take their medicines as prescribed, and have regular checkups. Dr. Atkinson and his wife live in Kingstree, SC. They have three sons and 3 grandchildren. Dr. Atkinson enjoys hunting on his farm and spending time with family.
